Sundays Well Masters Gala details

A very nice short course “sprint” gala that takes place on the afternoon in the Gus Healy Pool in Douglas Cork. The events will consist of 50m of each stroke, 200m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, relays of each age group and a cannon relay.There is also a 100m IM in this year’s programme. Christmas day swim

As it was Christmas day and forgiveness was in the air there was a brief interlude in the stormy weather and we were granted a sunny spell as 12 repentant souls – male and female took to the calm chilly waters of the Shannon at UL boat Club for the Christmas Day Masters dash. Our committee have been wracking our artistic and creative minds to make this a gala to remember. Limerick is the 2014 City of Culture and this year we guarantee our gala will be awash with buckets of culture, talent and genius cos everyone knows there’s tons of culture in Limerick Citaaaay! Would you like to return to swimming? Limerick Masters swimming club is a competitive masters club that has a passion for swimming, healthy lifestyle, quality coaching in top class pools and fun. In March each year at the Sports Campus at UL, Limerick Masters host the Irish Open Long Course Championships. The club also organise the Thomond Swim, an open water swim, which takes place during the summer months in the heart of Limerick city. Hi Members, The next term of early – bird training will start on this Wednesday, 8th Jan. (7 – 7:50am) & will run until Wed.16th April (15 sessions) The fee for the term is 50 euro or 5 euro per session – pay as you go. We are introducing an item called Coaches Corner and hope that you will find it to your benefit. The topic  is about training specifics. We train to a system to suit our needs and sport.
