IRISH OPEN LC CHAMPIONSHIP 2020

What a great weekend of swimming as we welcomed over 350 swimmers to Limerick and the 50m Arena Pool. Teh records tumbled this weekend starting with the first event. But most of all it was a great chance to catch up with swimming friends from around Ireland and afar.  A bitg thank you to all those who travelled to Limerick to support the Irish Open. Thomond Swim 2019

We are now into our 12th annual Thomond Swim. Each year the numbers continue to grow as does open water participation. This year we didn’t have the hot weather but over 91swimmers took to the 14.5 degree water and swam through our historic city.  A big thank you as always to Limerick Marine Seach & Rescue for the boat cover alongwith the support of Limerick Kayak Club. 2019 Limerick Masters Irish Open LC Championships

We had an amazing weekend of swimming well done everyone.  Swimmers arrived in Limerick from Friday evening for the 1500m FS event where we saw 6 full heats & still had a wait list! This year we kept to our usual schedule, Storm Emma a once in a lifetime distant memory! We had our first Prostrate Cancer Survivors relay. Thomond Swim 2018

King Johns Castle Thomond Swim

11th year since it was reinstated and today we 97 swimmers in the water plenty of first timers & plenty of seasoned swimmers. The sun shone and most importantly all who entered exited safety. Castleconnell Summer Solstice 2018

86 swimmers took part in a 1.4km swim in Castleconnell on Wednesday 20th June. It was the first swim in the Summer League. Funds went towards Castleconnell Boat Club & the Marine Search & Rescue. What a weekend of swimming and it was certainly worth the wait. It seems the additional weeks of training with our rescheduled date helped aplenty as the records fell.
